Naturally-sourced, bioidentical GABA, produced by a bio-fermentation technology, using Lactobacillus hilgardii!!
Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a natural active non-protein amino acid. GABA exists widely in nature, including the mammalian nervous system, the botanicals such as tomatoes, grapes, potatoes, pumpkin, and tea, as well as fermented foods such as kimchi, germinated brown rice and pickles, which are also rich in GABA. It plays a fundamental role in regulating the life activities of organisms.
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is an important neurotransmitter widely distributed throughout the central nervous system. It serves as a critical calming agent for the body, helping to combat stress and anxiety. Having enough GABA in our body is a guarantee of feeling relaxed and happy. Lack of GABA will cause the tense feelings, anxious and sleeping problem.
GabarelaxTM is naturally-sourced, bioidentical GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), produced by a bio-fermentation technology, using Lactobacillus hilgardii. These beneficial bacteria are also used to ferment many foods including the vegetables in kimchi, the famous Korean dish.
It is said that GABA can hardly pass the blood-brain barrier (BBB) through a supplement. But even though GABA can't cross the BBB, it can still affect your brain. The enteric nervous system (ENS) is the network of neurons that controls your gastrointestinal system. The ENS not only contains many GABA receptors but also GABA itself and is connected to the brain via the vagal nerve. Therefore, oral GABA can even affect the brain without passing the BBB through its interaction with the ENS.
Clinical studies show that GabarelaxTM can increase calming alpha brain waves and reduce stress-related beta-waves helping to promote calmness while maintaining mental focus; synthetic GABA does not appear to have similar benefits.
